Chateau Paveil de Luze 2016, AOC Margaux, Cru Bourgeois

A quality wine from the Left Bank of Bordeaux, with a history dating back to 1862. This year, Paveil de Luze is also part of the very exclusive Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel club – there are only 14 such houses in existence. To qualify for this club, a wine must stand out year after year in a blind blending by a panel of expert winemakers. 2016 was an excellent vintage in Bordeaux, which gives the wine exceptional concentration. This wine also features 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, typical of Margaux, and just 20% Merlot.
