Aberlour A bunadh is a characterful, spicy taste with some smokiness, hints of barrel, orange peel, chocolate and dried fruits. Served at room temperature.

The original distillery was founded in 1825-1826 by James Gordon and Peter Wier. The distillery was destroyed in a fire in 1879 and rebuilt by James Fleming the same year. In Gaelic, the name means “babbling estuary”. The Aberlour Distillery is situated on the River Lour Burn close to the water source St Drostan’s Well, from where it gets its water. The distillery has had a lot of different owners over the years. In 1974 it was bought by Pernod-Ricard who are its current owners, via their subsidiary Chivas Brothers.
Aroma: Slightly spicy aroma with hints of barrel, orange chocolate, butter and dried apricot.
