This special release is a nod to that tale, finishing in Jamaican Rum casks for a vibrant tropical sweetness. Bottled at a mighty 58% abv, this 16-year-old whisky is a beautifully sweet treat enjoyed neat.

An extra-tropical edition of Cardhu, released as part of the Diageo Special Releases 2022. Matured in refill and recharred casks before a finish in Jamaican pot-still-rum casks, it adds layers of tropical fruit to Cardhu’s honey-forward character to create a zingy but rich whisky.
Aromas of pink grapefruit and ripe mango move into a palate of spiced toffee, caramelised pineapple and a satisfying astringency, ending up sweet and peppery with oak spiciness.
