This is The fourth Distiller Series gin, made by trading spices and ideas with our friends at Stranger & Sons in Goa. It’s vibrant, aromatic and if colourful was a sense, then it would be that too. This gin is a loud, fun and fresh celebration of our love of Indian food and flavors.

As with all our gins, there’s a story behind Spice Trade Gin. The seeds for this gin were sewn when Cameron met the Stranger & Sons team at Bar Convent in Berlin, and was taken by their passion, expertise and charm. Cam made a point of keeping track of their progress going forward, and was delighted when they became the very first Indian gin to take home a gold medal from the 2020 International Wine & Spirits Competition in London. It was through the congratulatory emails that Cam and the team struck up the conversation of collaborating.
The result is quite literally a spice bazaar in a glass. Firstly, it is unmistakably gin, with a hefty juniper base needed to support the varied botanicals. On the nose it provides tantalising aromas of finger lime, chilli, cardamom and turmeric. The palate is huge, built from macadamia, cashews, sarsaparilla and cassia which hold the spices together. The spices of green Szechuan, long pepper and red chilli blended with lemon and anise myrtle add to the intensity and depth of the gin.
