McHenry Classic London Dry

The McHenry family distillery is located in northern Tasmania, on the side of Mount Arthur – Australia’s most southerly gin production. It is known to be the southernmost family distillery in the entire world. Tasmania is so cut off from the rest of the world and industry that any winds that blow across the island are already halfway cleared of pollution. The McHendrys also have their own private springs of ultra-pure water with an inexhaustible supply, and let’s not forget native plants and herbs found nowhere else in the world. All these factors give reason to create these unique gins in this particular location. For William McHenry, running a distillery is a real way of life – being of Scottish origin himself, he values ​​Celtic-Gaelic traditions and, of course, above all contact with nature. Classic London Dry Gin is a very soft and elegant gin! You can feel lemon peel, a hint of star rice, coriander seeds and cardamom, with velvety juniper in the background. The botanical mixture consists of 5 components: juniper, coriander, orange peel, star anise, cardamom. Enjoy with a low sugar Indian tonic. Garnish with lemon zest! Great in Martinis.
