Michel Couvreur Floral Malt is an intriguingly different expression to the usual Couvreur whiskys. A lighter derivation, both in appearance and taste. This single malt whisky has been matured in Fino Sherry casks for 12 years, giving it a well-nuanced, delicate palate. It presents bloomingly floral and fresh fruity flavours, with notes of toasted almond. Refreshing to the taste, with a hint of savoury umami. A delightful and elegant whisky to cherish.

Michel Couvreur was a businessman, a true whisky connoisseur and a visionary. To him, maturing the whisky in oak casks was what truly made the whisky, what made it personal and memorable. In 1978 he moved to Burgundy and dedicated his life to creating noteworthy and meaningful whiskys. His son-in-law Cyril Deschamps took over the family-owned company and carries on Michel’s legacy.
