Ten year old single malt whisky from the Netherlands. Produced by the excellent Zuidam, this expression is matured in French Oak casks. These casks give the whiskey a delicate complexity and fruitiness with subtle hints of vanilla.

Zuidam Distillers is one of the last independent distilleries in the Netherlands that still makes and processes all its distillates and extracts in a traditional way within its own family business. The big dream of whiskey lover and master distiller Patrick van Zuidam has always been to make his own whisky. In 1997 he started making his first batches, but it was not until 2007 that he was satisfied with the result: the first Dutch whisky: Millstone
Tasting note: In addition to the rich vanilla and toffee aromas that these casks give, one can also discover spicy notes of cinnamon and cloves in this whiskey. In 2014 this whiskey won a silver medal in the Wizards of whiskey competition in London.
