Ricard

Ricard, from Marseille on the southern coast of France, is the best-selling aniseed wine (pastis) in the world and the favourite drink of the French. Founded by Paul Ricard in 1932 at the age of just 23, it is the origin of a whole category of products (known as Marseille pastis) and a consumption tradition – Ricard is always drunk long with water.

Today, Ricard is the 8th largest brand of spirits in the world.

Ricard is characterised by the flavour of star anise from southern China, as well as liquorice and various herbs.
