With the Yalumba Y Series Samuel’s Collection Eden Valley Chardonnay comes a first-class white wine in the wine glass. It offers a wonderfully bright, golden yellow color. After the first swirl, one can perceive a perfect balance in this white wine, as it does not stand out on the glass walls in a watery, syrupy or liqueur-like manner. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from Australia shows wonderfully expressive aromas of kumquat, orange, grapefruit and lime, rounded out by cinnamon, cocoa bean and black tea.
Yalumba Y Series Samuel’s Collection Eden Valley Chardonnay delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the top wine range, this Australian naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need residual sugar. Balanced and complex, this creamy and silky white wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this white wine from the South Australia wine-growing region, which is capable of aging, finally impresses with a beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the limestone-dominated soils.
This white wine from Australia is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 – 13°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to fruity endive salad, roasted trout with ginger pear or stir-fried vegetables with fish.

The basis for the balanced Eden Valley Chardonnay Samuel’s Collection from South Australia are grapes from the Chardonnay grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in South Australia. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in the controlled temperature.
